The Founding Story
Our founder and CEO is Lauren Heys. Born and bred in Launceston, Lauren moved to the mainland to work for a global consulting firm before returning to Tasmania in 2017.
Lauren has always been passionate about real estate, buying her first house in her teens. She started Moxxi to provide a local and quality service to owners that wanted to diversify their property portfolio and guests exploring our great state of Tasmania.
Hubby Dan, builder by trade, knows a thing or two about our homes and is a great problem solver. He is passionate about technology and sustainability as powerful drivers of a guest experience and smart business practices.
Dan and Lauren are married with three adventurous kids; in winter you’ll find them chasing snow on Ben Lomond and summer enjoying Tassie’s coastline and rivers.
